Mt. Everest Challenge

Think you’ve got what it takes to summit the tallest mountain in the world? At 27 feet high, our indoor rock wall may not be the Himalayas—but it sure is safer! For 8 months, starting October 1st, you’ll log your progress step by step as if you were climbing all the way to the top of Mount Everest (29,032 ft!).

Every climb you complete brings you higher up the “mountain.” Whether you’re racing to the summit or taking your time to enjoy the climb, this challenge is all about pushing your limits, tracking your progress, and celebrating every milestone.

Grab your harness, chalk up, and start your journey to the top of the world—right here on our wall.

How it Works

Challenge Goal: Participants will add together the height of all of their wall climbs over the duration of the challenge in order to reach a total height of the elevation of Mt. Everest, or as high as they can get. Participants will also keep track of their daily climbs in the log sheets, and we will transfer logs into a digital spreadsheet and update the leaderboards so that everyone can view their progress

Timeframe: The challenge will start on October 1st, 2025, and end on May 31st, 2026, for a total duration of 8 months. We will count all wall laps climbed within this duration as long as participants write down their climbs on the log sheets provided.

Who can participate: Anyone is able to participate in the challenge. There is no official sign-up process or cost; just add climbs to the logs. Participation is on an individual basis, but we encourage everyone to work together and push each other to achieve greater heights.

Tracking climbs: Participating climbers need to write down the number of climbs they do each day that they are at the wall, along with the route numbers of the climbs completed. Climbers must reach the top of a wall or route without falling or hanging on the rope in order for the lap to count. Each lap to the top of the wall counts as 27 feet added to the climber's total height achieved.

Routes: All routes are worth the same amount of distance (height). It makes things easier to track and calculate. We encourage participants to climb a variety of routes within their capabilities to keep things interesting when climbing multiple wall laps.

Milestones

We have a variety of rewards given out once climbers have reached each milestone. The milestones are 112 laps, 535 laps, and 1,075 laps. The top 3 climbers at the end of the challenge timeframe will receive an extra prize.
