Youth Volleyball
The numbers for this program have been increasing each year thanks to great volunteer coaches! Teams will again practice twice a week and play a total of 6 matches on Friday evenings throughout the season. This is a great way for kids to learn the fundamentals of this exciting game while exercising with friends and teammates. All games are played at the Montrose Community Recreation Center, practices are held at local MCSD gyms/schools.
This clinic will provide a fun and engaging environment for 1st and 2nd graders to learn the basics of volleyball, including fundamental skills such as serving, passing, and hitting. Through age appropriate drills and activities, participants will develop coordination, teamwork and sportsmanship. This program aims to foster a love for the sport and lay a solid foundation for future volleyball players.
