Gray Wolf Reintroduction - Colorado
Colorado Parks and Wildlife is reintroducing gray wolves to Colorado later this year with “paws on the ground” expected by December 31st. Join Ryan Sedgeley from the Endangered Species Coalition to learn more about reintroduction and coexisting with wolves and other wildlife.

“A Damn’d Set of Rascals”, The History of Zebulon Pike in Colorado
Pike headed out in July of 1806 to explore the southwest portion of the newly acquired Louisiana Purchase. Poor planning and a series of unwise decisions would plague Pike right up to his untimely death at age 34. Pike’s expedition is full of adventure, international intrigue, and hardship.

Montrose Newcomers and Neighbors
The purpose of Newcomers & Neighbors is to help you learn more about your hometown and the area and to meet other newcomers and neighbors! Neighbors are former newcomers who enjoy the meetings and getting acquainted with new people.
Meetings: First Wednesday monthly – September through May with a guest speaker from 10 am – 11:30 am
Location: Senior Center 1800 Pavilion Drive
Field Trips - Third Wednesday monthly to areas of interest – 10:00 am followed by lunch
