Become a Youth Sports Coach with MRD!

Do you have a passion for sports and a desire to make a positive impact on the youth in our community? Coaching with the Montrose Recreation District is a fun and rewarding way to support young athletes as they learn, grow, and succeed through sports.

As a volunteer coach, you’ll receive great benefits, including a Coaches Coupon—a $46 credit that can be applied toward an MRD sports league. Each time you coach, you earn another coupon, meaning your child can play for free the next time you sign them up!

Coaching is a fulfilling experience that allows you to mentor young athletes while making lasting memories. If you'd like to coach your child's team, simply register them and select "Yes as Head Coach" or "Yes as Co-Coach" when prompted. We'll reach out with the next steps!
