Sally Biesecker
After a rewarding 20-year career in Recreation with the City of Chesapeake, I retired in 2024 and made the move to beautiful Colorado to be closer to my daughter in Denver. I'm now happily living an off-grid lifestyle in Montrose, where each day brings a new adventure.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, in 1992. Outside of working on our property and spending time with our two dogs, Lulu and Sweet Pea, I love being outdoors. You can often find me hiking, paddling, fishing, kayaking, e-biking, and camping. When I have some downtime, I also enjoy getting lost in a good psychological thriller.
Living in Montrose has truly made a dream of mine a reality. I am excited about being part of the Montrose Recreation District.
