Adapted Fitness Training

Adapted fitness is a training program focusing on adapting workouts for each individual in the class with disabilities. This training meets the needs of a specific individual, depending on what disability they have. The training program is focused on the goals of each individual.

  • Days: Fridays
  • Time: 4:15 pm 
  • Dates: September 15th, 22nd, and 29th
  • October 6th, 13th, and 20th
  • November 3rd, 10th, and 17th
  • Fee: Free to members
  • Age: 16 yrs +
  • Location: CRC

 

Adapted Fitness Orientation

Using fitness equipment can seem overwhelming for many individuals. If you or a loved one has a disability, it might feel like more of a challenge. Learn how to utilize equipment at the CRC from John Wagner (ACE-certified personal trainer) and Danielle Musser (M.S. Certified Adapted Physical Education Specialist).

  • Session 1:  Thursday, September 21st at 11:00 am
  • Session 2: Thursday, October 19th at 7:00 pm 
  • Session 3: Saturday, November 4th at 11:00 am
