Adapted Fitness Training

Adapted fitness training is a program focusing on adapting workouts for each individual in the class with disabilities, following their physician’s guidance. The training is tailored towards adapted competition lifting movements, such as squats, deadlifts, and bench press. Registration and a physician’s clearance are required prior to participating, so be sure to register early.   • Time: 4:15 pm 
  • Session 1: Apr 5, 12, 19
  • Session 2: May 3, 10, 17, 31
  • Free to members (Must Register: TRFitness)

Adapted Fitness Orientation

Using fitness equipment can seem overwhelming for many individuals. If you or a loved one has a disability, it might feel like more of a challenge. Learn how to utilize equipment at the CRC from John Wagner (ACE-certified personal trainer) and Danielle Musser (M.S. Certified Adapted Physical Education Specialist).
