Nicole grew up on the Front Range and after college she traveled across the Western US, living in many other states. In 2023 she moved back to Colorado and landed in Montrose. Before joining the Montrose Recreation District, she worked for the USDA Forest Service and the National Park Service and had the privilage of living and working in some of our country's gems including Yellowstone, Mount Rainier, Zion and Rocky Mountain National Parks, and the Tongass National Forest. Nicole loves spending time with her husband and senior hound dog, and getting outside to hike, camp, snowboard, or go birding.
