Friday Family Fun Nights- Every Friday!!!: Join us for Friday Family Fun Night every Friday evening, 6:30 - 8:30pm at the Aquatic Center, 25 Colorado Ave. Admission is discounted to $2.50 per person and families are welcome to come splash and play together. L.E.A.N. Start

This fun, interactive educational program that provides parents and caregivers the tools and information to, develop a lifetime of achievable healthy habits for the whole family; improve the mood, learning and behavior of children through proper nutrition; avoid nutrition related diseases, such as Type II diabetes, heart disease and cancer; and make nutrition at home easy and fun while preparing healthy, yummy meals.

Outdoor Adventure School
Building on the success of last years program, participants will learn the basics of several different outdoor activities. Activities currently planned are orienteering, hiking, fishing and overnight camping. These are activities kids can learn and use for a lifetime. Each time we meet we will focus on th efundamental techniques for each activity.

Dates- June 11, 18,25, July 2 Time- 9:00 am-12:00 pm

Weekly Hiking Club
Each Tuesday we will meet at the MRD Community Center, review a topic about hiking for 30 minutes, then load into the van and head out for a hike. This is a great opportunity for any child to get some fresh air, exercise and enjoy our beautiful surroundings. Each participant needs to bring sturdy shoes, a pair of socks, a sack lunch, water and a backpack to carry it in. Hurry registration is limited.
