Pig-A-Sus Homestead Sanctuary and Horse Mountain Alpacas – Mack & Loma, CO
Pig-A-Sus is a pot-bellied pig sanctuary. They provide education for potential owners and an adoption program. Horse Mountain Alpaca’s focus is on breeding the best fiber producing alpacas that they can. We will see the alpacas and tour the farm store. Bring money for lunch at Cattlemen’s Bar and Grill.

Western Culture Farmstead and Creamery (WCFC) and The Living Farm Tours - Paonia
WCFC produces artisan goat cheese from their sustainable farm. We get to feed the baby goats at noon! The Living Farm is a 132 acre organic farm that grows produce, berries and livestock. Seventy five baby lambs will greet us.

Elk Mountain Resort - Lunch and Tour
Experience the Elk Mountain Resort located on nearly 300 acres of spruce, pine and aspen forest with a bounty of wildlife. We will dine on southern style comfort food prepared by the head chef and then tour the resort and surrounding out buildings.

Idarado Mine Reclamation Sites Tour plus Silverton Cemetery Tour
Join journalist Samantha Tisdel Wright for an engrossing visit to several sites on Red Mountain Pass that trace the history and reclamation of the Idarado Mine. Take a stroll through Silverton’s history in the Hillside Cemetery where we will learn the stories of some of the characters resting there.

Escalante Canyon Talk and Tour – Highlights the Pioneer Spirit
Join Chris Miller, Director of the Fort Uncompahgre Interpretive Center, and take a trip back in time. Learn about the 21 families who homesteaded the canyon and the trails and trials of the pioneer cattlemen as told by Bernie Musser.

Sashay Through History
Sally Johnson leads us on this tour where we will visit several historical buildings behind closed doors, in the downtown area. We will be able to sit and enjoy the building history with the owner/guide. Must be able to walk multiple blocks. Bring money for lunch downtown.

Telluride Historical Museum Tour plus Telluride Walking Tour
We will tour the museum and then take a leisurely stroll to hear the tales and see the sights around Telluride. Learn about some of Telluride’s most notable citizens, famous stories and see where Butch Cassidy robbed his first bank! Must be able to walk multiple blocks for walking tour.

Crystal Mill Tour and Sculpting Symposium – Marble
We will travel to the historic Crystal Mill and to Crystal City with 20 minute stops at each site. See Lizard Lake, view the Crystal River from the shelf roads, see water falls, wildlife, the Sheep Mountain cliffs and the unmatched beauty of the Upper Crystal River Valley.

Imogene Pass from Ouray – Alpine Scenic Tours
This 5 hour tour tops out at 13,114′ and is a rough, 4-wheel ride getting there! We will pass through the famous Camp Bird Gold Mine and its historic ruins. This trip includes several scenic detours for waterfalls and wild flower stashes. Imogene is a must see.

Take a relaxing float trip down the Colorado River from Palisade Park to James M Robb Colorado River State Park at Corn Lake. 2 hour float.

Black Ridge Trail – Colorado National Monument
This is a 4.5 mi RT hike with 225 ft. elevation gain taking us to a rock bridge which is our turn around point; moderate hike. Our guide will share historic photos and discuss the flora in the area. .

Glade Park Hiking Trails
We will hike to Miracle Rock and Miracle Rock Arch (2 mi RT) with 400 ft. elevation gain; moderate hike. We will then drive down the road and take the short (.5mi RT) hike to Dolores Falls; easy hike.

Telluride / Mountain Village Area
The Coonskin Loop is a 1.3 mi trail on a dirt ski service road with 170’ elevation change. Next we take the 2 mile Ridge Trail which drops 1,000’ from San Sophia to Mountain Village Center. Trailhead is located at the San Sophia Gondola Station. We will eat lunch in Mountain Village. .

Crag Crest Trail – Grand Mesa
This is a strenuous, 6.6 mi hike. Top elevation is 11,189; approximate 1,000 ft. elevation gain. For two miles, we will be hiking on a narrow ridge flanked by dizzying drop-offs on both sides with spectacular vistas all around. Must be fit to participate. One way hike with shuttle

Wine Tasting – Palisade NEW LOCATIONS!
We will taste at Vines 79 Wine Bar, Colterris Winery, and Sauvage Spectrum in addition to shopping at Talbott’s Orchards. We will take a tour and taste at Bella Bolettino Organic Farms Market and Events Center during their peach and lavender season.
