Holiday Lights and Dinner at Trattoria Di Sofia
Montrose community members put on a great display of lights for the holidays. Join us for an evening of dining and light viewing. If you are not able to drive or don’t drive at night, we will pick you up!

Shopping and Lunch in Grand Junction
We will begin at Mesa Mall where there are new stores including Dillard’s, Home Goods, The Dugout Arcade and Café and Dick’s Sporting Goods. We will customize the stops on this trip as much as possible to meet participant’s requests.

The Escape House plus Lunch in Grand Junction
An escape room is a live-action experience where players enter a scenario where they must use their minds to find clues, solve puzzles, unlock locks, and hopefully make their escape in 60 minutes! You will be on a team comprised of up to 6 people from our group.

Grand Mesa Summit Challenge Dog Sled Races
Events include races for sled dogs and skijoring. Races are 2-8 mi in length. Be sure to dress warmly and be prepared to stand or bring a chair. Watch the dogs take off and return from their 2 – 8 mile race. Be prepared for uneven surfaces and walking in snow.

The Western Hotel Tour - Ouray
Originally built in 1891 and restored in 2022, the 16-suite Western Hotel and Spa has a general store and saloon and gives a fresh take on old west luxury. We will take a tour of the hotel and have lunch in Ouray followed by a dessert stop at Mouse’s Chocolates.

Nunsense at the Avalon Theatre - Grand Junction
NUNSENSE is the hilarious musical farce about a convent of Nuns staging a fundraiser to enable them to bury four nuns of their order who died of botulism in an unfortunate convent cooking accident. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Dec 9th to allow for ticket purchase.

Amazing Glaze
Join us for our private, painting event! We will paint on a 12” canvas that has the outline started. No artistic background required. Everyone comes out with a completed piece.

TLC Kitchen - Paonia
The Learning Council (TLC) kitchen crew works out of a commercial kitchen and provides locally sourced meals to the community by donation. We will learn about what TLC does and we will assist in making the community meal and then eat!

Saturday Night at the Pea Green Community House!
The doors open at 6 pm! Listen to the band, partake in refreshments and potluck, see a short comedy routine by the Pea Green Brothers, and then listen to more music! We can pick you up if you don’t drive at night.

Egyptian Theater and the Delta County Historical Museum
The historic 1928 Delta Egyptian Theater is a great example of the Egyptian Revival style that was created through the 1922 discovery of King Tut’s Tomb. Our tour includes a history lecture about the venue including the lobby, auditorium, backstage, and projector room. We will tour the Delta Historical Museum as well.

Secret Creek, MRD Flex Rec, LaNoue DuBois Winery
First we tour Secret Creek, formally Colorado Yurt. We will see the facility operations, factory and the outdoor village. Next we tour the new MRD Flex Rec functional fitness facility. We end our day with free wine tasting at LaNoue DuBois Winery located south of town. Discounts for military and over 65.

Rock Art of the Shavano Valley
The inhabitants of Shavano Valley carved rock for centuries with subjects that range from BC to the 1800’s. The 2 hour rock art tour is about a 1 mile hike up and down, rocky and uneven surfaces with 8 to 10 sites to see.

Imogene Pass from Ouray – Alpine Scenic Tours
This 5 hour tour tops out at 13,114′ and is a rough, 4-wheel ride getting there! We will pass through the famous Camp Bird Gold Mine and its historic ruins. This trip includes several scenic detours for waterfalls and wild flower stashes. Imogene is a must see.
