Personal Trainers
All personal trainers are certified professionals with extensive backgrounds in the fitness industry. Each has their own specializations and patrons are encouraged to view their expanded bios posted in the fitness area outside the FitZone. Below is an introduction to each trainer and a brief description of their services.
Personal Training Rates
- 1 Session - $61
- 4 Sessions - $224 ($56 per session)
- 8 Sessions - $408 ($51 per session)
- 12 Sessions - $552 ($46 per session) $180 savings over individual sessions
- 24 Sessions - $984 ($41 per session) $480 savings over individual sessions
Non-Annual Pass Holders
- 1 Session - $66
- 4 Sessions - $244 ($61 per session)
- 8 Sessions - $448 ($56 per session)
- 12 Sessions - $612 ($51 per session)
- 24 Sessions - $1104 ($46 per session)
1 Hour - Small Group Training (2-4 Individuals) for 1 Month
- 8 Group Sessions: $225 per person/month (Annual Pass Holder) or $265 per person/month (Non Annual Pass Holder)
- 12 Group Sessions: $330 per person/month (Annual Pass Holder) or $390 per person/month(Non Annual Pass Holder)
Meet our Trainers
Laurie Broyles
Laurie has been training for over 15 years. She has an exercise science degree, is ACE certified, specializes in pre and postnatal workouts, TRX certified, and does both group and individual training. Laurie can help with nutritional meal planning and is knowledgeable about supplements. Laurie enjoys running and playing tennis. Laurie has a happy and upbeat personality; please come see her and let her help you get on track with your fitness goals!
Stacey Lee
Stacey has over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry and 20 years as a Credentialed Public Educator. She has also coached volleyball, basketball, and surfing. She has a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from University of Colorado, Boulder. Stacey is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer, Functional Aging Specialist and Certified Functional Aging Group Ex Specialist. She specializes in Senior Fitness, getting sedentary people back on the active track and HIIT training. Stacey provides Personal Training to both individuals and small groups and really enjoys training couples. She also enjoys teaching outdoor Boot Camp classes to all ages. She has been active all her life and currently enjoys Dodge Ball, Frisbee and surfing. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors and taking pictures with her husband or just soaking up the sun with her 2 cats and 1 pup. For Stacey, fitness is fun and she ensures that you too have a good time while being safe, exercising and improving your fitness skills. Stacey can help you bend that aging curve and have fun while doing it!
Candice Marschel
Candice has had a lifelong passion for health and fitness. She has been personal training for 10 years. She specializes in bodybuilding, strength conditioning, and nutrition. She is ISSA certified and TRX Rip trainer certified. She enjoys working with all ages and all fitness levels. Candice focuses on programs that are both challenging and fun. She likes helping to correct body imbalances and focuses on excellent technique and proper body mechanics. She believes that the work you put in is what you get out, so work hard! Candice has been a champion figure competitor in multiple States. She enjoys sharing all that she has learned through discipline, dedication, and determination. Let her help you get in the best shape of your life!
Deb Patterson
Deb is a personal trainer and senior fitness specialist through the NASM. She is also a certified Silver Sneakers instructor. Deb earned her certifications at 50 years old and is passionate about helping other older adults achieve their fitness goals. She believes you don’t choose your ideal weight, but it is simply a result of being at peace with your food, enjoying your exercise, accepting your body, and cultivating the right mindset around your lifestyle. Deb lives here in Montrose with her husband, 2 boys, and 3 dogs. Personal interests include a love of gardening, rock concerts, theatre, running (slowly), baseball, and terrible dad jokes. It’s never too late and you’re never too old!
Tara Wilson
Tara has almost 20 years of experience in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and aerobics instructor. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Nursing and Exercise Physiology and certifications as a Personal Trainer and Silver Sneakers Instructor. As a Registered Nurse, Tara has an understanding of chronic health conditions, illness, and injury in relation to exercise. She is an lronman and marathon competitor and enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband and 3 children. She understands the steps you must take to achieve your goals through exercise, nutrition, and motivation. Tara can help you achieve your goals whether to complete your first race or lose weight to become healthier and feel better about yourself.
