Montrose Connection

Are you new to Montrose?  Not sure what is happening around town?  Trying to find a place where you can connect with like-minded people?  Looking for someone to learn to play golf with?  Hoping to find a couple or person to enjoy the Bronco game with?  

These are just some of the items you will discover at our monthly sessions.  We are Montrose residents of all ages who get together to share ideas on things to do, places to go, our hobbies or interests and hope to find others with the same passions.  Join us on the 3rd Monday of every month from 6:15 - 8:00 p.m. for a lively discussion on any topic you would like to share.  Register at the Montrose Community Rec. Open Line Dancing

Learn how to perform line dance steps and receive dance description with the counts and formation. Instructor: Gilbert Cascante.

 Woodcarvers Group

Black Canyon Woodcarvers Group. Join our informal group and hand-carve a variety of items (animals, caricatures, toys, etc.). Learn techniques from each other. Bring your own supplies. Call Janet at 323-5860 for more information.

Crafty Chatty Group

Bring your UFO's (unfinished objects) and socialize while you work. Make new friends with similar talents and interests. Stuck? Get help with your project from other crafters. No project? Come to socialize and get your creative juices flowing. You may find a project that looks like fun to you. No charge to join this group. Bring your own materials. Jam Session/Sing Along

Join us if you play an instrument and/or sing! This is a casual group that you can attend as your time permits. Each person gets a turn to pick and lead a song and others play along. This is a free get together. Call Cindy at 252-4884 if you have questions. Spectators who enjoy listening to music are also welcome to attend.

Painting on Glass

Make a beautiful piece in each of these instructor led classes. All supplies provided except brushes.

Ceramics Get Together

Complete as many projects as you want. Purchase your own bisque projects locally or at Mary's Ceramics, 2807 C 1/2 Rd, Grand Junction. Underglaze and acrylic paints are provided. Call Cindy if you have any questions 252-4884.

Monday Night Out

Join us the third Monday of every month for excellent food, company, games and dancing. Pick and choose the activities you want to participate in on Monday Night Out.
