We are excited to announce that the majority of areas within the Rec center are open. Read below for details.

In order to comply with public health orders set forth by both Montrose County Public Health and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, there will be several policy and procedural changes implemented to keep visitors, staff, and our community safe. Patrons who are non-compliant with the policies and procedures will be asked to leave the facility. If you have additional questions, please contact us during the updated hours of operation.

Hours of Operation: September 8th and forward

General CRC Hours:
Monday - Friday:  6:00 am - 1:00 pm and 4:00 - 7:00 pm
Saturday: 12:00 - 4:00 pm

Track and Cardio Machines: Open during general hours

Aquatics: (See the Aquatics section for additional details) We suggest making a reservation for lap lanes.
Saturdays: The pools will be open for Family/Open Swim from 12:00 - 4:00 pm.

Gyms:
Monday - Friday: Pickleball  6:00 - 10:00 am and Open courts 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Saturday: 12:00 - 4:00 pm)

Additional Areas Opening
Climbing Wall:
Tuesday-Wednesday: 4:00 - 7:00 pm (certified climbers and reservations only)

Fitness Classes:  Reservations only see the Fitness Area tab above

Racquetball Courts: Open during general hours by reservation (Members of the same household only at this time)
  

General Policies and Procedures

 

 

  • The admission process includes a symptom screening, as well as confirmation of reservation for certain areas. If drop-in slots are available, they will be assigned here. Patrons are required to sign an updated waiver.
  • Upon entry anyone exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 will need to leave the facility for the safety of others.
  • All patrons ages 11+ are required to wear a mask or facial covering at all times, unless in the pool. This includes when entering and exiting the building, walking through the building, and anytime social distancing cannot be maintained.
  • Patrons are required to maintain a minimum distance of six feet from one another at all times.
  • Patrons will clean all equipment before and after each use. Staff will disinfect regularly.
  • Patrons under the age of 16 MUST have an actively involved parent with them while they are in the building.

  • To minimize contact we encourage patrons to pay in advance, online or over the phone. Contactless forms of payment are preferred.
  • Locker rooms and Cabanas are open for restroom use and changing. Lockers are not available at this time.
  • Patrons are asked to keep their time in the facility limited to 90 minutes or less.
  • MRD encourages at risk populations and those with underlying health concerns to remain at home at this time.
