Ouray Hot Springs
Come along for a relaxing trip to the Ouray Hot Springs pool. From about 1:15 – 3:00 pm we will swim and soak in the famous warm mineral water. Transportation, a light snack and
pool admission included.

Shopping in Grand Junction
We will travel to The Grand Junction Mesa Mall for shopping and lunch, we will also hit Kmart, Kohl’s, Michael’s, Bed Bath & Beyond and Ross. Transporation, drinks and snacks provided. Seating is limited.

Snowshoe Trips
There’s not much technique to snow shoeing. In fact, if you know how to walk, you know how to snowshoe. Few recreational activities are as easy to learn and as much fun as snow shoeing. It’s also great exercise, and while you’re walking through the woods on trails or traversing meadows, it’s a good time to catch up on what’s happening with the friends or family walking alongside you. The beauty of shoeing is its simplicity. Just strap a pair of modern snowshoes onto your favorite running shoes or hiking boots and hit the trail with a completely natural stride. Enjoy the low-impact workout that the shoes and snow beneath them provide. We will take frequent rests. Shoes and poles provided by Jeans Westerner. Pick up a clothes and supply list at registration. Snowshoes and poles, snacks, hot chocolate and water provided. Bring your lunch.

Antique Browsing
No matter what your preference you will find collections of country, primitive, Victorian furniture, glassware, pottery, Fiesta, graniteware, linens, paper goods, cowboy & collectibles. The shopkeepers are dedicated to the business and true enthusiasts. The Antique District will make you think you are in the country of the antique world. We will visit 3 antique shops in Hotchkiss and have lunch at a local café.

Scenic Ride and Site Seeing - HWY 90 to Delta
Enjoy Aspen pockets amongst the Oak Brush and Pine trees and the stunning display of the Spring colors. See the breathtaking view of the San Juans from on top of Columbine Pass, as we take the time to walk and breathe the Colorado fresh air.

5th Annual Hotchkiss Sheep Camp Stock Dog Trials
A full day includes stock dog trials -- 75 dogs will be participating; watch man and animal work together. There will be a Sheep Camp Wagon Competition and a Trial Oriented Item Auction, town-wide garage sales and other activities, BBQ beef, lamb and merchant vendors on site! It’s going to be a fun day, so don’t miss it!

Take a Hike
Each time you go outside and walk, as long as you stay within your capabilities, you will come home feeling better than you did when you left. River Float Trip - Gunnison River
Trip is class I & II rapids and great for any age or ability. Bring your lunch and pick up a raft trip checklist at the Aquatic Center or Senior Center. Be amazed at the beauty as we paddle through the wonderful heart of the Gunnison Valley. You’ll feel you are in another world and gaze skyward as we floatbeneath the towering palisades cliffs. Often you will see deer, great blue herons and eagles as we float the lower Gunnison into the National Park area. You will get a little wet and there are a few mild rapids at the white water park.

Travel to Grand Junction for a National Junior College Baseball World Series
